How can meditation prevent you from becoming ill: It is absolutely true that meditation makes us less sick. I am saying this with full confidence because I have experienced it in my own life. I have been practicing meditation for the last 15 years, and I know what benefits we get from it. 

I have experienced those benefits in my life. In this blog post, I will share these benefits based on my 15 years of experience with meditation. But I will tell you in detail: if we practice meditation regularly, our physical health improves, and we fall sick less.

Because before we get any disease, we get the thought of that disease. First, we get the thought of that disease. Later, that disease enters our body. And gradually, the symptoms of that disease start appearing in us.

My Gurudev once told me that we begin to think about a disease six months before we actually contract it. Gradually, the disease begins to infiltrate our bodies. The symptoms of the disease then begin to manifest in our bodies. That’s why it’s important to identify, six months in advance, the type of thoughts we’re experiencing and whether we’re experiencing repeated thoughts of any disease. At that point, we can prevent the disease by addressing those thoughts.

But to change our thoughts. To make our thoughts positive. Such a medicine is not available on the market. In this case, meditation is the only effective remedy. When we engage in meditation, we become aware of the thoughts that arise within us. We practice to control our thoughts. We learn to restrict our thoughts well.

We always get two types of thoughts. One is positive, and the other is negative. So through meditation. We practice keeping ourselves away from negative thoughts. We also practice directing our attention towards positive thoughts. [How can meditation prevent you from becoming ill]

As a result, we do not have negative thoughts about diseases. When we do not have negative thoughts about diseases, then there are full chances of us not getting those diseases. We eliminate the main root of the disease in the beginning. Therefore, regular meditation will lead to the development of positive thoughts. 2. Chit Shudhi

Many of us may be unfamiliar with the term “chit.” I will try to explain it to you with an example. Suppose you’re sitting in your home. While sitting at home, the thought of the airport comes to mind. As soon as you start thinking about the airport, a picture of the airport begins to appear in your mind.

Now, two actions have taken place here. First, you thought. Then, through your thoughts, your picture reached the airport. It begins to display various scenes from the airport. Our Chit handles the task of displaying the airport’s scenes.

Now, when you keep your eye on positive things, you get the benefit of positive energy. But when you keep chit-chatting about negative thoughts, then you absorb negative energy. Which is not good for you or your health at all. 

In the same way, if you keep chit on a sick person or think about him repeatedly, then there is a full possibility that you also absorb the diseases of that person through chit. Due to this, there is a full possibility of you getting those diseases.

Our Gurudev provided us with a real-life example of this. He had met a person in his life with whom he had a very good relationship. But suddenly, one day, that person started feeling pain in his heart. So he was immediately admitted to the hospital. However, his pain did not decrease at all. The doctor was also unable to determine the cause of his pain.

When my Gurudev went to meet that person, the doctors told him that we were unable to find out the reason for his pain. Consequently, my Gurudev approached the individual and initiated a conversation with him. During the conversation, my Gurudev came to know that where this person used to work earlier, he did not get along well with a colleague there. [How can meditation prevent you from becoming ill]

He would often engage in arguments with the colleague. And there was enmity between these two. Both of them became enemies of each other.

When my Gurudev came to know about this, he immediately told people to find out that the person with whom he used to have fights, who was his colleague in the previous office, had information about him. When information about him was obtained, it was found out that that person had had a heart attack and was admitted to the hospital.

So my Gurudev immediately understood that, due to the chit of this person on his enemy colleague, he was also having pain in his chest. His colleague suffered a cardiac arrest. As a result, this person is also receiving the disease through his chit. 

So my Gurudev immediately asked that person to forgive his enemy colleague with a true heart. He asked him to pray to God for him. When that person did this, his chest pain started reducing in a short time. This incident is absolutely true.
