Can meditation change your karma: See, before understanding whether meditation changes our Karma or not, it is very important to know how many types of Karma there are. Karma is always of two types: one is your past Karma, and the other is your present karma.
Past Karma does not only mean the Karma of this life. I am also talking about the Karma of your previous life. This topic may be new to you.
You may feel uncomfortable believing it. But trust me, all the information I will provide in this blog post is obtained from my Guru, Shri Shiv Krupanand ji. He has meditated in the Himalayas for years and has gained knowledge from many gurus.
Based on this knowledge, I will explain in detail how you can change your Karma through meditation. Additionally, I will tell you which Karma is impossible to change. The results of your Karma must be endured.
So let’s start our blog post without wasting any time.
Types of Karma
Past Karma
First, we will talk about past Karma. See, past Karma does not only mean the Karma of this life. Past Karma also refers to the Karma of your previous lives.
[Can meditation change your karma]
If you have done bad Karma in your previous life, you have to bear their bad consequences in this life. And if you have done good Karma in your previous life, you get good results in this life.
By doing bad Karma, the accumulation of sin gets deposited in your account of Karma. By doing good Karma, the accumulation of virtue happens.
Past Karma cannot be changed. You have to endure their consequences in this life. If you have also done bad Karma in this life, you may have to endure their consequences in this life too.
This is how a person gets trapped in the cycle of sin and virtue. This endless cycle of birth and death continues.
The reason for human life is that one has to endure the results of the Karma one has performed. This is why the cycle of birth and death continues endlessly. A person remains entangled in it.
As you know, we cannot change the past. Similarly, past Karma cannot be changed through meditation. However, through meditation, you can reduce the intensity of your past Karma.
[Can meditation change your karma]
Present karma
The other type of Karma is our present karma. present karma refers to what Karma we are performing at this time.
You can also understand this as the Karma of this life. If you are performing good Karma in this life, you get good results in the next life or in this life.
If you perform bad Karma in the present or in this life, you have to endure their consequences in the next life or in this life.
Until now, we have understood that Karma is of two types. One is past Karma, which cannot be changed. The other is present karma, which can be changed through meditation.
Now we will understand how to reduce the intensity of past Karma. Besides, we will also understand how to change present karma through meditation.
Impact of Meditation on Your Karma
Reducing the Intensity of Past Karma
See, I have been practicing Samarpan Meditation for the past 15 years and am associated with the reviews of people who practice this method.
I am connected with my Guru Shri Shiv Krupanand ji. Millions of people are connected with my Guru. Here, by souls, we mean the souls present inside the living human body, not dead souls.
[Can meditation change your karma]
I am connected on this spiritual level. It means I am indirectly connected with the reviews of millions of souls. This gives me collective strength.
Due to this collective strength, I have understood that if I have done some bad Karma in my past or present life, I feel less intensity of their consequences.
Example of a Spoon of Black Ink
Let’s understand this with an example. Suppose you pour a spoonful of black ink into a glass of water. The entire glass of water turns black.
Conversely, if you pour the same spoonful of black ink into a river, sea, or pond, will the water of the river, sea, or pond turn black? Absolutely not. There, the amount of water is much greater, and the amount of ink is very little.
Similarly, if you do not meditate, the intensity of the consequences of your past Karma does not decrease.
Here, I am talking about Samarpan Meditation because my Guru has taught me only about Samarpan Meditation. Those who practice Samarpan Meditation remain connected with my Guru.
There is a collective strength of millions of people connected with my Guru. Those who regularly meditate using the Samarpan Meditation method gain a sort of collective strength.
[Can meditation change your karma]
They do not remain a glass of water but become an entire ocean. They become like a whole river or pond.
Because of this, even if a spoonful of black ink is poured into them, it does not have much effect. It does not mean that they are saved from the consequences of their bad Karma.
They definitely endure the consequences of their bad Karma, but they do not feel its effect.
See, generally, when good times come, we do not realize it. But bad times feel like they last for years.
Changing present karma
Now we have understood how we can reduce the intensity of past Karma through meditation. However, we cannot change them. Now we will know how we can change our present karma through meditation.
You can also say how meditation affects your present karma. It makes your Karma good, and you accumulate virtue. Due to this virtue, you get good results in the future or in the next life.
See, if you closely inspect our Karma, the most important role is played by our thoughts. When you perform any Karma, you first get a thought about it. Then that Karma happens through your hands. [Can meditation change your karma]
It means thoughts play a very important role in our life. What we think happens through our hands, and that creates our future.
You can also understand this with the example of a mango seed. If you plant a mango seed today, you will get sweet mangoes in the future. But if you plant a bitter gourd seed, you will get bitter gourds in the future.
Now, what happens is that when you meditate regularly, you observe your thoughts. This gives you a deep understanding of your thoughts.
Especially when you meditate using Samarpan Meditation, you gradually attain a state beyond thought observation. We call this the state of thoughtlessness.
The State of Samadhi
If you practice this continuously, after the state of thoughtlessness, you gradually attain a higher state of meditation, called the state of Samadhi.
When you attain such a state, your inner soul element begins to awaken. Your soul-consciousness develops, and your soul gains control over your body.
As a result, your soul controls your thoughts. You can also say that when your soul gains control over your body, it also affects your thoughts.
You always think positively, leading to positive Karma through your hands. [Can meditation change your karma]
See, for some people’s information, I want to mention here that a human always lives in two states. Generally, a person lives in a body-conscious state. It means his body controls him. The other state is soul-conscious.
When a person’s soul-consciousness awakens, his soul has complete control over him. I will discuss these topics in detail in another blog.
I think now you must have understood that when you meditate regularly, especially Samarpan Meditation, you connect with collective strength.
This reduces the effect of the consequences of your past Karma. You do not feel their effects.
On the other hand, your present karma becomes good. Because by meditating, your soul controls your body.
This makes your thoughts positive, and positive Karma happens through your hands. As a result, you get good results or outcomes in the future.
The State of Liberation
Now I want to tell you an important thing. My Guru Shri Shiv Krupanand ji has told me this. He has tried to convey this message to the entire world. That is, every human being is born to attain liberation.
The purpose of human life is to attain liberation. When a human is born, he remembers this purpose. [Can meditation change your karma]
But as he grows up in his life, his body controls him. Because of this, he forgets his main purpose.
See, for those who do not know, I want to mention here that liberation means getting free from the cycle of birth and death.
But how is this possible? Let’s understand this through the guidance of our Guru.
My Guru has told us that the reason for human births is thoughts. The way he thinks, Karma happens through his hands. This Karma has good or bad results, and he has to take birth again to endure them.
When he endures the consequences of past Karma, he has to take a new birth to endure the present karma. In this way, he remains stuck in the cycle of birth and death.
Attaining the State Free of Karma
If he wants to get out of this cycle of birth and death, it is extremely necessary to attain a state free of Karma.
Now, how can this state free of Karma be attained?
My Guru has told me that if you want to attain the state free of Karma, you need to meditate regularly. [Can meditation change your karma]
When I talk about regular meditation, I am talking about Samarpan Meditation here, as I am meditating using only this method.
My Guru has told us that when you meditate regularly, you gradually attain a state of thoughtlessness. Your soul gains control over your body, and your soul manages your entire life.
The soul is a power that completely knows what is good and bad for you. And it makes Karma happen through your hands accordingly.
Secondly, when you meditate regularly, you remain connected with your Guru. Through this connection, your devotion towards your Guru increases.
My Guru has also told us that when you meditate regularly and your soul controls your body, no bad Karma will happen through your hands.
Secondly, if good Karma happens through your hands, you need to dedicate them to your Guru.
My Personal Experience
For example, in my life, when I do a good deed and people praise me, I tell them that my Guru has done all this through me. I have not done it. I am just a medium. My Guru has made this entire task happen through my hands. [Can meditation change your karma]
In this way, we dedicate any good Karma happening through our hands to our Guru. This prevents us from being bound by those Karma. We do not accumulate the virtue of those Karma, as we have dedicated them to our Guru.
This way, we do not need to take a new birth to endure the fruits of those virtuous Karma. No new Karma gets deposited in our account.
Because by meditating, we remain connected with our Guru. Due to this connection, we gain collective strength from millions of people.
Because of this collective strength, the effect of the bad Karma of our past lives decreases. Similarly, we endure the fruits of the Karma of this life easily. This way, we attain the state free of Karma in this life.
We dedicate any good Karma happening through our hands to our Guru. Because of this, their virtue does not get deposited in our account.
We do not need to take a new birth to endure the fruits of those good Karma. This way, we get free from the cycle of birth and death and attain the state of liberation.

I have experienced that whenever I face bad times or get stuck in difficult situations, I can easily face those situations.
Whenever a good deed happens through my hands in my life, I give all the credit to my Guru. This way, the virtue of those deeds does not get deposited in my account, and I do not need to take a new birth.
By meditating using this method, my Karma in this life has completely changed. My thinking has completely changed. I get guidance from my soul, and my soul does not let any wrong Karma happen through my hands.

We try to understand others throughout our lives. We try to gather information from all over the world. But we never try to understand or know ourselves.
