What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul? Uncover the Mysteries

What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul: I am delighted to know that you all realize you have a soul and that our existence extends beyond this physical body to our soul. In today’s society, many people are unaware of this.

You are among the few who understand that apart from this body, you have a separate existence, which is your soul.

Meditation has numerous positive effects on our soul. Through meditation, our soul is strengthened, and we develop a sense of self.

In this blog post, we will explore in detail the impacts of meditation on our soul and the benefits that our soul gains from meditation.

The information in this blog post is unique and possibly not available elsewhere because it was imparted to me by my Guru, Shri Shivkrupanand Swami Ji, who taught me meditation.

The guidance he provided about the relationship between meditation and the soul is what I will elaborate on in this blog post.

Without further ado, let’s start our blog post and understand one by one how meditation positively impacts our soul.

Understanding the Soul

What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul

First, we need to understand what the soul is. The soul is a part of the Supreme Soul (God) that exists within us.

[What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul]

You can understand this with an example: just as the Supreme Soul is the entire ocean, the soul is a drop of that ocean. This means that the Supreme Soul is present within us in the form of our soul.

However, we are usually not aware of this. Throughout our lives, we give importance to our body, while without the soul, our body holds no significance.

The day the soul leaves this body, we die, and our family members dispose of our body.

Think of our body as a vehicle and our soul as the driver of that vehicle. No matter how good your vehicle is, if there is no driver to operate it, the vehicle is useless.

Similarly, our soul drives our body-like vehicle.

Our Soul is Always with Us

What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul

We have understood what the soul is. Now, I want to tell you that our soul is always with us. When we are born on this earth, our soul is with us.

And when we leave this earth, our soul is still with us. We change our body, religion, and attire across many lifetimes.

We are born in different countries, meaning with each birth, our religion, country, and language change. [What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul]

But only our soul remains unchanged. It stays the same, knowing about all our past lives and the present one.

Our soul knows the mistakes we made in our past lives and what remains unfulfilled, necessitating a new birth. It knows the recurring mistakes we make.

Your Soul is Your True Friend

What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul

When we are in the shade or darkness, even our shadow leaves us. But our soul is always with us.

When you seek guidance from your soul, it guides you well because it knows what is best and right for you.

It knows all your past life’s deeds and what challenges you will face in the future. Considering future challenges, it guides you in the present. Your soul knows your life’s purpose and helps you discover it.

Once you establish a connection with your soul, you no longer need external guidance or motivational speakers.

You can make life decisions on your own because your soul guides you. And when you start making the right decisions at the right time, it leads to success.

Such crucial decision-making is guided by your soul, and its guidance is always accurate and correct. [What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul]

Sometimes, it may not seem appropriate in the present, but when good results come in the future, you realize the guidance was right.

What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul?

Meditation Strengthens Your Soul

What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul

Generally, we humans live in two states of mind – body consciousness and soul consciousness. Most people today live in body consciousness, meaning the body controls us. All bad habits stem from excessive body consciousness.

But as we regularly meditate, our body consciousness diminishes, and soul consciousness develops within us. Regular meditation leads us to introspect and delve deeper within ourselves, gradually making us aware of our soul.

As this awareness grows, our soul becomes stronger.

Let me explain with an example: when our soul is weak, it is like a puppy, and the body is like a big dog.

Thus, our body dominates our soul. Suppose you resolve to wake up early and set an alarm for 4:00 AM.

When the alarm rings, a faint voice inside says it’s time to wake up, but immediately another voice says to sleep a bit more or start from tomorrow.

The first voice is your soul, and the second is your body. The body’s influence overrides the soul, and you continue sleeping. [What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul]

However, this changes when you meditate regularly, strengthening your soul and giving it control over your body.

Developing Soul Qualities

What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul

Our soul possesses many qualities, but they do not develop due to the body’s control over us. As I mentioned earlier, regular meditation strengthens our soul and gives it control over our body.

When our soul is strong and controls our body, the qualities of the soul begin to develop within us. The soul has many qualities such as forgiveness, tolerance, and love for all.

When your soul is strong, these qualities develop within you naturally without any special effort.

Connection with the Supreme Soul

When you regularly meditate and your meditation reaches a good state, leading to the state of Samadhi, your soul establishes a connection with the Supreme Soul.

Then, you and the Supreme Soul become one. The Supreme Soul’s consciousness flows through you, and you become one with the Supreme Soul.

You become a medium for the Supreme Soul as you and the Supreme Soul become one. When this connection is established, the powers of the Supreme Soul start to manifest in you.

You feel this experience yourself, and those around you also notice it.

Attaining the Ultimate Goal of Liberation

What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul

Every human born on this earth has one ultimate purpose: to complete their karmas and attain liberation (Moksha). When we are born, we know this purpose, but as we grow and the body’s influence increases, we forget our life’s main purpose.

Our soul knows about this purpose. As I mentioned earlier, our soul remains with us in every birth and knows why we took birth on this earth.

However, due to the body’s overwhelming influence, our soul weakens, causing us to forget our life’s main purpose.

The main purpose of every person’s life is to attain liberation. But when we regularly meditate, our soul strengthens, and its influence starts to affect us.

Our soul gains control over our body and gradually guides us in life. It reminds us of our life’s main purpose and guides us towards achieving it, leading us to the ultimate goal of liberation.

Scientific Acceptance of the Soul’s Existence

Many scientists have conducted experiments to understand the existence of the soul. Today, many scientists are still trying to comprehend the soul’s existence, and several have acknowledged it. [What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul]

You can research online to find numerous scientific experiments attempting to understand the soul’s existence. The soul is not a fictional concept; many scientists have recognized it.

One scientist even experimented to understand how the soul exits the body after death. He investigated the body’s weight before and after the soul leaves.

Many such experiments have been conducted to understand the soul’s existence, and scientists continue to explore more about it.

Samarpan Meditation

What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul

By now, you must have understood the effects of meditation on our soul. But some of you might wonder which meditation technique to follow among the many available in society to achieve such positive effects on our soul.

Friends, I would suggest Samarpan Meditation as I have been practicing it for the past 15 years. Through this meditation technique, I have experienced many positive impacts on my soul.

I have felt the existence of my soul. I have experienced my soul becoming stronger, and I have transitioned from body control to soul control.

Many soul qualities have developed within me, such as forgiveness, love for others, understanding others well, and not getting angry quickly.

[What Does Meditation Do to Your Soul]

These qualities have developed within me. I have understood my life’s main purpose, which I am currently striving to achieve—the purpose of life, meaning attaining liberation, the main goal of every person’s life.

This meditation technique is taught free of cost worldwide. You do not need to follow any strict rules to practice this meditation technique.

It is easy and simple to practice this meditation technique. There are meditation centers worldwide where you can learn this meditation technique for free and easily.

Although there are many other meditation techniques prevalent in society, I do not have experience or knowledge about them.

Therefore, I find it inappropriate to talk about them or suggest them to you. However, if you are interested, you can gather information about them and experience them. Later, you can share your experience with me.

In conclusion, I would like to say that friends, we always live under the influence of body consciousness, meaning our body controls us.

But when you meditate regularly, your soul starts to strengthen, and gradually, your soul gains control over your body.

When your soul controls your body, it guides your entire life. Thus, you never need external guidance.

You do not need to seek inspiration from outside because your soul is your true friend, always providing accurate guidance and always being with you.

All this becomes possible when your soul is strong, and meditation strengthens your soul. So far in my life, I have not found any other method that can strengthen your soul as meditation does.

Therefore, I request you to start meditating regularly and strengthen your soul. Thank you.
