Samarpan Meditation (Dhyan) Yog: For thousands of years, the practice of Samarpan Meditation has been taught in the Himalayan region of India through the guru-disciple tradition. However, this special knowledge was only shared with a few people.
The wise rishis of the Himalayas hoped that one day, Samarpan Meditation would reach everyone. They believed that someone living a regular life, like most people, could make this happen.
About 800 years ago, this dream started to come true. Saint Dnyaneshwar, a respected spiritual leader, wanted this knowledge to reach common people.
He even predicted that this journey would begin 800 years later. Amazingly, things started to happen just as the rishis and Saint Dnyaneshwar had hoped.
Following the spiritual guidance of the rishis, a young seeker named Shree Shivkrupanand Swami traveled to the Himalayas.
There, he practiced deeply and learned the true essence of Samarpan Meditation. With this newfound wisdom, Swamiji returned to society, ready to share the benefits of Samarpan Meditation with everyone.
This journey, from the quiet mountains of the Himalayas to the busy lives of ordinary people, shows how powerful and important Samarpan Meditation can be. It encourages us all to explore its practice and discover the peace and wisdom it offers. [Samarpan Meditation (Dhyan) Yog]
Samarpan Meditation (Dhyan) Yog
His Holiness Shree Shivkrupanand Swami explains Samarpan DhyanYog in a unique way:
Samarpan Meditation
In many meditation techniques today, meditation involves focusing on your breath, staring at a flame, or doing bhastrika pranayam. Samarpan meditation, however, does not use these methods.
It is not just a meditation technique. Instead, it is the inculcation of values (sanskar) from one pure soul to another.
To benefit from this process, one needs to be a pure and holy soul. The key is to surrender completely to the Divine through the Divine’s Medium.
When you do this, the inculcation of values happens automatically. The process is natural and effortless, bringing about deep spiritual transformation.
SANSKAR (Values)
To obtain the sanskar of Samarpan meditation, you don’t need to go to the jungle or leave society. You don’t even need to give up your work or deeds (karma). What matters is that whatever karma you perform should be free from expectations.
When you let go of expectations, you won’t perform the karma; it will get done through you. The first karma you do will be your own choice; after that, it will happen through you as a medium.
[Samarpan Meditation (Dhyan) Yog]
If you do good karma, good energies will assist you. If you do bad karma, bad energies will support you. My Muslim Guru often said this.
This value is passed from one pure soul to another. To absorb this value, you must first become a soul. In this world, the soul is imperishable, while everything else perishes.
When you assimilate this pure value, you progress from human to superhuman, and your body becomes a medium.
Even an ordinary person like me became a medium for great work on a global scale in just 22 years. This transformation is possible because of the ‘Samarpan Values’.
The Himalayan Gurus provided an example of this by sending me from the Himalayas into society. This transformation was only possible through the ‘Samarpan Values’.
Anyone in this world can absorb this value. The doors of the Divine (Paramatma) are open to anyone who wishes to absorb it. Paramatma (Divine) is equal to all and freely available (at no cost). Which are unique characteristics of the Paramatma (Divine).

Introduction to His Holiness Shivkrupanand Swamiji
His Holiness Shivkrupanand Swamiji, the incredible soul who brought Samarpan meditation from the hidden valleys of the Himalayas to our everyday lives.
[Samarpan Meditation (Dhyan) Yog]
Like the legendary king Bhagirath, who brought the River Ganga to earth through his devotion, Swamiji made this ancient wisdom accessible to all of us.
Samarpan meditation was once a secret, known only to sages and yogis in the Himalayas. So, how did Swamiji connect with them? Let’s dive into his childhood to find out.
Swamiji was born into a modest Maharashtrian Brahmin family. His mother, a gentle and devout woman, and his maternal grandparents deeply influenced his religious path.
But Swamiji’s journey took a unique turn. He longed to meet God and seek spiritual experiences.
His father’s limited income meant Swamiji had to fund his own education from high school to his post-graduate degree in Commerce. He tutored students to cover his fees and other expenses.
From a young age, Swamiji loved to explore. He walked along railway tracks, watching the villages and fields. As he grew older, he ventured further, cycling with friends to distant jungles and mountains.
His job took him all over India, where he marveled at scenic places and engaged in spiritual discussions with local sages. [Samarpan Meditation (Dhyan) Yog]
During deep meditation, Swamiji often saw three visions: the Pashupatinath Temple in Nepal, a tall fair-skinned ascetic with blue eyes and a long white beard, and a Temple of Lord Shiva on a hill. These visions guided him on his spiritual quest.
Once, Swamiji went to Kanpur for work. The banks were on strike, which seemed like it would last a while. He thought, why not visit Nepal and get the blessings of Lord Pashupatinath?
So, he traveled to Nepal and had the darshan of Lord Pashupatinath. There, he met an old man from Sudur Shibu village who told him, “Shiv Baba is waiting for you, come along!”
When Swamiji met Shiv Baba, he realized it was the same ascetic he often saw in his meditations.
Shiv Baba transferred all his spiritual energies to Swamiji, setting him on the path to spiritual progress. Swamiji then returned to his job.
Soon, Swamiji’s marriage was arranged, and he had a son. When his son was eighteen months old, another Guru came to his home and asked his wife for permission to take Swamiji to the Himalayas.
There, Swamiji met and served many sages, ascetics, and kaivalya kumbhak yogis, accepting them as his Gurus and learning from them. [Samarpan Meditation (Dhyan) Yog]
Each Guru shared all their knowledge with Swamiji and then sent him to another Guru. Through these teachings, Swamiji discovered a meditation technique that guides every soul to liberation (moksha).
This technique transcends religion, race, language, and gender, meaning anyone can practice it.
Following his Gurus’ command, Swamiji introduced this meditation technique to society. He could only learn it because he fully surrendered to his Gurus.
Thus, the technique was named ‘Samarpan DhyanYog’. Any person in the world who surrenders completely can gain the knowledge of this meditation.
The goal of Swamiji’s life is to help everyone in the world grow spiritually and achieve liberation (moksha) while they are still alive. He shares this priceless knowledge for free all over the world.
Swamiji, though an ocean of Consciousness, always sees himself as just a medium for these energies. We deeply admire his gentleness and simplicity, bowing a thousand times in respect.

How to do samarpan meditation ?
Step 1: 8-Day Programme
Before beginning Samarpan Meditation, you must first participate in an eight-day programme. In this programme, Swamiji provides insights on various subjects.
You can attend this programme online or at your nearest Samarpan Meditation center.
In this programme, Swamiji helps clear your mind and assists in initiating your inward meditation journey.
Various internal processes occur during this period, making the eight-day attendance extremely important. [Samarpan Meditation (Dhyan) Yog]
Step 2: 45-Day Ritual
After regularly participating in the eight-day programme, a 45-day meditation ritual begins. During these 45 days, your meditation progresses, and your life’s challenges gradually start resolving.
This ritual is not mandatory, but consistent meditation over these 45 days typically yields quicker benefits.
Step 3: Meditating at the Meditation Center
My guru has repeatedly emphasized the importance of regularly meditating at the meditation center. He suggests that meditating at the center at least once a week is crucial.
Meditating at the center provides a sense of community and enhances the enthusiasm for meditation. It is akin to meditating alone for 100 days being equivalent to one day of meditating with 100 people.
Therefore, you should practice meditation alone at home in the morning and join a group meditation at the center once a week.
Step by Step guide for samarpan meditation
Step 1: Find a Quiet Place
First, find a quiet place where there is minimal noise and fewer disturbances. If such a place is not available, you can sit in a corner of your house.
If your home is small, it’s best to meditate early in the morning when other household members are likely still asleep, providing a quieter environment. [Samarpan Meditation (Dhyan) Yog]
Step 2: Hand Positioning
Next, place your right hand on your crown. Focus your attention there. Slowly rotate your hand above this area three times. Then, gently lower your hand from your crown.
Step 3: Recite the Mantra
After lowering your hand, recite the following mantra three times:
“I am a holy soul, I am a pure soul.”
When reciting, feel the truth of these words. Recognize that, despite having been born in various bodies and contexts through many lifetimes, your soul’s purity remains constant.
When saying, “I am a pure soul,” realize that your true essence is purely that of a soul, with everything else being transient and changing with each reincarnation.
Step 4: Quiet Sitting
After reciting the mantra three times, keep your focus on the crown, close your eyes, and sit in silence for 30 minutes. During this time, avoid engaging in other activities like thinking, chanting further mantras, or focusing on your breath.
Step 5: Overcoming Distractions
While meditating, you might face various distractions. Initially, your mind may resist by flooding with thoughts.
Observe these thoughts passively, as if you were watching television. Gradually, your thoughts will quieten on their own. [Samarpan Meditation (Dhyan) Yog]
Your body might also resist by causing itching or digestive noises. Even then, maintain your resolve to remain still for 30 minutes.
If thoughts arise, simply observe them passively, allowing them to diminish over time.
By following these simple steps, you can practice Samarpan Meditation.
You can also perform this meditation with the help of audio guides for convenience.
Note: Understanding meditation techniques from a blog post can be challenging. For a more comprehensive understanding, you can listen to the lectures of my Guru Dev Shri Shiv Kripaanand Swami on YouTube or visit your nearest meditation center for more information. This will provide greater benefits.
